The main application of Stainless Steel Corrugated hose assemblies is where synthetic rubber hoses & plastic hoses do not work well i.e. for hot water, steam, condensate, gas, corrosive liquids, acids, ammonia, carbonic & tartaric acids, tannic acid, nitric acid, sulphuric acid, dye stuff, mercury etc. 

In refineries: To convey oils; gasoline, LPG, benzol, petrol, alcohol, LSHS, liquid gases, steam, and other derivates

In Chemical Industry: For the changing, mixing & Conveyerlines

In power Plants: For cooling lines etc.

In Reactor Installation: For cooling lines etc.

In steel Plants: For supply of air and oxygen and for blast furnaces.

And everywhere: Where corrosion and vacuum are major problems

When pressure is applied, unbraided hose tends to elongate axially; to restrain this, an external layer of SS wire braid is provided. The braid also makes the assembly pressure compatible.

Sometimes two or even three layers of braiding are provided for high pressure applications. The braiding is highly flexible and follows the movement of the hose. The braid is normally manufactured in SS 304 wire. However SS 316 and 321 braids can also be manufactured. We also supply wire braid in different configurations as per customer specifications

For the Internal hose and the Jacketed hose our stainless steel corrugated hoses used, In each case with stainless steel Braiding. The internal and the Jacketed hose are joined with pressure tight fit.

Application :

When ordinary insulation is not sufficient for certain applications, or when specific minimum temperatures are needed to convey viscous substances, traced piping is generally used; this consists of two tubes, one inside the other, with various differences in cross-section.

One of the tubes, generally the inner one, carries the medium, and the other one carries a heating or cooling agent ; sometimes it is the other way around .In other cases, the external tube is used as a safety measure.

Occasionally, such traced piping has to be flexible. It is for such applications that we supply our Jacketed hose.

It's high flexibility makes this hose very suitable for angular and lateral (offset) movements. The Jacketed hose is pressure-and vaccum-proof and, due to the materials used in its manufacture, resistant to temperature and corrosion. The large surface area of the corrugated section results in particularly high heat transfer efficiency, the hose combining the functions of a flexible conduit and a highly efficient heat exchanger in the simplest possible form.
